Home Sweet Home!

For anyone who has moved away from "home" and made a home of your own you may relate.

I just got back from Alaska where I was able to attend my grandmothers funeral and see family and friends. I was able to spend time with my family and even see a couple friends that I hadn't seen for YEARS. It was such a nice trip.

One thing I realized though, "HOME" isn't my home anymore.

My home is in Utah, in the middle of Utah.
I live around cows and horses.
I have great neighbors.
I have Mt. Nebo out my back door every morning, afternoon and evening.
I have a yard with lots of trees and bushes.

My house isn't special or big or fancy but its mine.

My husband loves me, takes care of me and see's that I'm happy here.

My little girl is sweet and loving and makes me laugh everyday.

All in this little house we call a "home".
Sure, I had alot of those things in Alaska but its just not where my whole heart is anymore.

A small part of me is still in Alaska and it always will be. But life took me to Utah.

Corey and Cailyn took me home.

That made me cry. Home can mean many different things, huh?

Me too! It was interesting for me to go home for the first time. I wasnt sure how I would feel. But like you said, it was confirmed my heart is not there anymore. I really wanted to be back in Washington in my new life, my life.......What a wonderful thing huh? TO be able to create something beautiful all by ourselves...
