Visit from Aunt Chani and Chocobeast

We had a fun weekend! Chani Poo came to visit for a minute
and Carly had her first chocolate chips.
Fun Times!

Summer is such a tease

Because its March you feel the need for chicks.

Then the chicks make you feel warm and fuzzy.

So now you have to build a chicken coop.

And the kids put on their flip flops and skirts.

Carly gets to come outside even though she is little sick.

Carly gets to come outside without pants, even though she is a little sick...

All because its March.

March in Utah means that it can be 20degrees or 65 degrees.

Today it was 65 degrees and it made us all very happy.
So happy in fact that we almost forgot its still winter.
What a tease that Summer is.

What She Missed Taking A Nap

Its not very often Cailyn takes naps these days.
So when it was only 12:30pm and she was sound asleep....
well it was only fair to take Carly outside and play.

We don't get time with just Carly very often.
Guess its just a second child thing.
Can't imagine how little time a 3rd child gets.
Sorta sad actually.

Carly isn't walking yet.
I don't think she cares that she's almost 15 months old either.
She gets by just fine though on all 4's.

I have way too much fun with this camera.
I'm thinking that Corey wishes he got me an iPod touch now.

Hope you enjoyed this Carly show as much as I did taking it.
She really is such a joy in our lives.
And cute to boot.

So Pretty, it Could Make You Cry

Sunsets in Mona are amazing.
They happen fast though.
Blink and you miss it.
I had to change lenses and I almost did miss it.

Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened!

They Try So Hard

The hot summer days can't some soon enough for these girls.
They sit by this finger print covered window anytime the sun shows its face.
They try so hard to get outside every chance they can.
I'm all for it, as long as its not too cold.

Carly uses this time to practice standing up but nothing more.
Once in awhile she'll lick the window too.
One time after Carly had been licking away at the window Cailyn came up to me
and pointed to the lick marks and asked, "Mom, Sargy's been licking the window. Where is Sargy?"
I felt sick to my stomach.
I told her where Sargy was and that it was Carly that was licking the window.
She went and told Carly that licking the window was gross.
That made me laugh!

Cailyn has even dug out her summer dresses.
She will wear pants for about 5 minutes in the morning but as soon as
I'm not paying attention she is in her closet picking out her dress of the day.
She'll change it up about 3-4 times a day too.
Such a diva.

Carly wont walk but she will pull herself up and sometimes into the drawers.
Her favorite thing is pulling everything out and flinging it throughout the kitchen.
I don't mind. I figure I have to clean everything 15 times a day anyway...whats a few more
bibs and rags?
I'm so enjoying my camera.
I had no idea I would love it this much.
I'm also loving the learning curve. I learn something different everyday and try
and practice it. I feel like I'll never know it all but that's okay.
I'll be a stay at home mom for a very long time so I'm sure
I'll have plenty of time to figure it MOSTLY out.

See Ya Bye 2011!

In no particular order.
Cailyn played her first season of T-Ball and did very well!

Our Bi-Annual Family picture with our new addition, Carly.
July, 2011

Cailyn also started Pre-School in August.
She loves her teacher and has made a lot of friends.

Its been a big year for our Cailyn.
She ALSO started dance!
She looks forward to it each week!

We bought a camper! We haven't used it yet. But we will!
Summer of 2012 is going to be GREAT!
Many trips already planned!

I had my 4th knee surgery! Sickness.
I'm doing very well now though!
My mom came for 2 weeks to help and to play with the girls.
It was way too hard to say good bye!

A bullet came through our house on Thanksgiving.
No one was hurt, THANKFULLY.
No one was arrested either.

Cousins Jane and Stu came for a wonderful visit!
The girls just loved having them!

I went Elk hunting for the first time ever!
First time hunting anything actually!
We came home with no elky but with lots of good lessons!

Carly girl got the dreaded RSV at 4 months old. Very sad.
She did okay though.
Better then I did actually.

Carly learning to love her tummy.

Easter spent with Cailyns best friend Kyra.
They are neighbors and we are very thankful for them!

This is only a big deal because I promised myself I wouldn't be that mom that
put the kids in matching clothes.
Well I did because these dresses were 1. On sale and 2. Freaking Cute.
Had to do it.

This was the whole summer.
Those girls played nearly every day.

Other things that happened this year:
1. I started working for Weight Watchers as a receptionist.
2. Corey went to the I-Team meeting another two times and just last Tuesday
got the call that he'll be promoted to Rig Manager! (Pusher)
3. Carly turned One. (wowzer, That went so fast!)
4. Corey also started working in Colorado.
5. We took our annual trip to Mesquite Nevada for some nice weather and
adult entertainment! (Slot machines, that is)

Well I'm sure there is more but I can't think of it.
We did have a great year with lots of fun things!
We wish you and yours a Happy New Year!
