Summer is such a tease

Because its March you feel the need for chicks.

Then the chicks make you feel warm and fuzzy.

So now you have to build a chicken coop.

And the kids put on their flip flops and skirts.

Carly gets to come outside even though she is little sick.

Carly gets to come outside without pants, even though she is a little sick...

All because its March.

March in Utah means that it can be 20degrees or 65 degrees.

Today it was 65 degrees and it made us all very happy.
So happy in fact that we almost forgot its still winter.
What a tease that Summer is.

What She Missed Taking A Nap

Its not very often Cailyn takes naps these days.
So when it was only 12:30pm and she was sound asleep....
well it was only fair to take Carly outside and play.

We don't get time with just Carly very often.
Guess its just a second child thing.
Can't imagine how little time a 3rd child gets.
Sorta sad actually.

Carly isn't walking yet.
I don't think she cares that she's almost 15 months old either.
She gets by just fine though on all 4's.

I have way too much fun with this camera.
I'm thinking that Corey wishes he got me an iPod touch now.

Hope you enjoyed this Carly show as much as I did taking it.
She really is such a joy in our lives.
And cute to boot.

So Pretty, it Could Make You Cry

Sunsets in Mona are amazing.
They happen fast though.
Blink and you miss it.
I had to change lenses and I almost did miss it.

Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened!

Fridays are Good.

Teaching Cailyn the Benson family secret recipe for
Chicken Noodle Soup.
She's really good at rolling out the flour.

After dinner I thought I would go play with my camera.
I forgot how pretty our backhoe was.

The hollyhaucks are sound asleep.
Pretty soon we'll have big bright blooms.
Summer can't come soon enough
because winter still hasn't come.

Good Things Come to Those Who Search

I guess I didn't have to wait as long as I thought.
In fact I only had to wait for two days.

I've only had it 6 hours and I'm already taking better pictures.
Or maybe its just my kids thought it was nice not having a camera in their face
for a few days.

Her name is Cooter.
She's from the land of Olympus.
Evolt E-410 down hyw 10megapixel.
Don't forget to stop off and get some 14-42mm and 40-150mm.

Cooter makes me really happy even though I
don't know her very well.

I'm looking foward to getting to know her though.
I feel like we can have something special.
I know we can. She came to me so easy.
$190 for a $700 camera.
I know I got lucky.

And I owe it all to these two!
They made a mad dash to pick it up for me.
Thanks Lisa and Clay! You're the best ever!!

Snow Day

Cailyn and I had a fun day in the snow on Tuesday. It snowed most of the day.
Its all gone now.
We made snow angels. The big one is mine.
We went in after my snow angel because my butt was wet
and I got cold.
Cailyn loves the snow.
Its because she's half Alaskan.
And partly because she's three.
Mostly its the Alaskan in her though.
