Day 22- Thankfuls

Its almost here.

The big day.

Food, fights, naps, games, fights, more food, pie,

phone calls home, setting up the Christmas tree, putting up lights, Ritz crackers and cheese,

cheese balls, apple cider, clementines, more fighting, snow ball fights, pumpkins,

fancy dinner wear,

paper plates, football, parades, pre-dinner walks, conversations,

aunts, uncles, babies, cranberry sauce, gravy,

mini corn, Black Friday ads,

Monopoly, brothers teasing, friends, cookies, mandarin jello salad, no hot water,

dogs sleeping, moms yelling, babies crying,

timers ticking, ding!

Turkey comes out, plates filled, prayer given, mouths full, smiles,

Silence.
Laughs, stories, passing food, bulging bellies, tummy laughing, enjoyment of
one another.

Thanksgiving Day.

No matter where you are, who you're with or what you're doing,

Memories of Thanksgiving can be overwhelming and fun.

I'm so grateful for my Thanksgiving memories.
