Well this is what we are up too this week! Corey has been working on the roof all week trying to get it all framed up and ready to roof. Clint came over this morning at 9am and they have been hard at work ever since. Corey had to tear down the old roof that was there because it was sloping in. The former owners didn't know what they were doing and didn't put any slope in the roof, used 2x4's spaced out 2feet and no grade. Then they didn't nail down the shingles right so most of those were blown all over the yard. I was sure Corey was going to fall through all the rotting wood while he was tearing it apart. But as you can see, he's just fine!!! So with the roof done, we'll move on to the yard, out buildings and baby. Its going to be one busy summer!!! We are still hoping Dad will come down and help us paint the house!!! (hint, hint) Or if Nels and Todd want to volunteer we will gladly accept! One day this house will look good!!! OK, back to work!
