Been Busy?!

Why yes, thanks for asking.

Its been a great summer so far!

I've finally done something that I keep thinking about doing.

Quilting.

I love it. Its tedious work but I really enjoy it.

My first quilt goes to my newest nephew, Bear.

My guidance and mentor is the lovely Lynda Smith at Easy-Peasy Sewing.

She also happens to be my neighbor, very convenient.

We meet together once a week to sew, chat and learn.

I'm beyond excited for my next project, a King Size quilt for my bedroom.

Corey has been asking for something less frilly and more manly so guess what he gets to do?

Go shopping for fabric with me!

I can't think of anything more romantic.

Anyway, more pictures of the girls are coming, fret not.
